    Hi all

I am a 53 year old single parent of a 25 year old daughter. I teach chemistry and mathematics at a small school in Perth. And I am tired of all the gimmicks we see on TV advertising weight loss. I have tried so many and you lose weight for about 3 days then it all goes back on the next day - so frustrating. I had resisted Bodytrim for some time thinking it would be the same as all the rest - but finally gave in when the eating plan I had devised for myself was not making any difference. And here I am one month on BT and 5.5kg down. This is very exciting and I can't wait to see where this takes me in the long term.

    Hi There Steph!

Welcome, and what a great job so far on BT. I have to admit, when I saw the ad's on TV for BT I thought it was a bit of a gimmick too, Geoff isn't really the best salesman (he looks like all the other salesman) but thought what the heck and gave it a try too. My first go on BT was a huge success, unfortunately having a bubba gave me an excuse to tumble off the wagon so I'm back again.

Lookf forward to following your journal and seeing your fantastic results Clap

Thanks Janene. I was one of the lucky ones when I was younger - very slim and probably well underweight until I gave up smoking and became my ideal weight. But somehow over the last 10 years or so the weight has piled on - and it happens without you really noticing. But I did become concerned as my weight went over 80kg - and my BMI indicated I was obese. That really freaked me out - as I would look around me at other people and think "how can I be obese - look at them"! A terrible attitude I know Sad

Even when I told a friend at work that I needed to lose 20 kg she looked at me in amazement - surely I didn't need to lose that much. Seems I was carrying the weight reasonably well - plus I knew how to dress for my shape. But how things have changed. Back under 80kg for the first time in over 2 years and people are starting to notice the difference - and to ask what I am doing. That is the most gratifying part. I am so thankful to BT - not all the hype and advertising and so on - but for the simple eating plan which has become a way of life already and for the daily exercise which I hate to miss. I do most of my exercise on my Wii fit board - and last night the batteries died in the board. But rather than miss my exercise because it couldn't be recorded I just went on and did 40 min of stepping - on a totally "dead" board. When exercise is not a chore and you never feel hungry because of the eating plan it becomes so much easier to maintain.

Anyway - thanks Janene for creating this forum - it is certainly easier to use, though I have not figured out how to get my photo in!

Ah Stef, you reminded me I need to write up some tutorials on how to add Avatars and Signatures for those not sure how.

To add your Avatar click on the tab that says "profile" along the stop under the boards banner.
You should see a window that shows your registration informations and above that are another set of tabs or links, click on the one that says "avatar" and from there you can click the "browse" button and upload a picture from your computer Smile Let me know if you need any help

Hi All, I have looked at Bodytrim for a while and my hairdresser has used it and swore by it so I eventually bought it last week and I am starting the three day phase tomorrow.
I am interested in communicating with anybody that is doing this or has done it and has tips.

    Hi Fe and welcome

If you stay plugged into the forum you will get all of the help that you need.

My number one tip is to plan and prepare! I make sure I have plenty of tins of tuna/salmon as well as deli meat. Each night I make my lunch for the next day at work so that there is salad ready to go with whatever protein I have decided to have. I make sure I have plenty of easy dinner options - salmon, chicken, beef etc as well as the veg for stir fry or salad or just as a side. I have never had so much fresh food in my fridge, plus I have lots of frozen veg for when I don't feel like preparing fresh veg.

do you have any tips for the first three days of detox when I need to eat only protein - I was hoping to get onto trim club and get some menu hints but it is not accessible at the moment.
