Well I know most have been on BT more than a week now so thought I'd start a thread to see if you'd like to check in and tell us how you're going so far. Are you flying through it, or struggling, or not really noticing a difference either way?

Forums are great for support, if you think you need a bit of a boost let us know, we'd be more than happy to offer you a bit of encouragement and a kick up the ass (if that's what you want Razz )

Me, well week 1 (and a bit) is down. I was really good during the week, had a good loss. Felt I failed a bit on the Free day, ate sweets between meals instead of PO snacks. Probably ate too many carbs, I know it's suppose to be "free" but I felt I went overboard, and therefore feel a bit bleh today - funny how carbs make you feel like crap, I forgot that!! Lol...Anyway, back on PO today and doing well. Breakfast was hard to stomach this morning for some reason. Slacking off a bit on water today, need to go drink a few glasses in a minute.....Done some Wii workouts yesterday and holy crap my legs are like sore sore sore jello today, lol even walking hurts....Ooooo feeeeeeeeeeel the burn Lmao

    How's everyone else doing?

I started last Wednesday and been really good all weekend - had two walks today - the dog is stuffed - and feeling good - obviously no carbs - and I must admit I feel the difference - have the crockpot on for dinner and about to roast chicken drumsticks for the week and boil some eggs - done the shopping and got a few tins of tuna and a few tins of the chicken too - so all in all feeling fine - will weigh myself tomorrow and let Janene know so she can update my ticker - I had lost 3kgs after the 3 day detox so hoping it is at least that!
    Have a great week everybody!

    Hey Janene, Hey FeFe,

I'm pretty much the same, been 1week 3 days on BT and feel wonderful now. Had 3 carbs meals yesterday also for my free day (tutt tutt, I know only 2 carb and PO for snacks) but hey, I've learnt my lesson. Surprisingly, I didnt go for the cheese n crackers which I thought I would as that was my major temptation. Instead I went for too much bread.

Looked forward to PO only today. Nearly finished 2 litres of water, flush out that bread except I think it's expanded in my belly and now I'm bloated again.

I have been naughty and have had chocolate every day since easter and still lost weight, but I think my exercising everyday combatted that along with the 10,000 steps.

I think after 3 weeks I'll need that kick up the arse!!!! this is when I'll back off and start saying "once in a while won't hurt" etc etc. Hmm yep that once in while is what made you 90kg in the first place.

Might have to make a new weekly challenge just for that "slacking off part". Maybe a WII challenge since we all pretty much have that. What do you all think? Don't want to bombard you all with challenges....

I've started the EA sports 6 week challenge, but I'm up for another one for us lot.

I have been using BT for 5 weeks and have lost about 6kg. I am happy with the weight loss, the food/water/exercise routine but I have grown increasingly disillusioned with the BT hype. It took forever to get logged in to start with, I still haven't received the 12 week super course emails, getting a response in the promised 1 business day NEVER happens and I am fed up. So tomorrow I am going to have to call and get them to refund my money (which they took less than 3 weeks after me getting the system) as well as that for the trim club which they took out rather quickly as well. I hate confrontation so I am definitely not looking forward to it Sad

I am a Wii fit addict - getting out for a walk just never happens - but I will spend 50-70 mins free jogging or stepping in front of the TV! I am up for any challenge we want to set - sounds excellent!

I just want to say a very big thank you to Janene. This forum is so much better than the BT one - and you have already built a solid community of support - well done!

    Woohoo

    Hey Stephanie,

I did that last week and I got my money back and kept everything. I even got them to bring the date forward due to login issues for Trim club, and I found out that my actual date was 9th April, that day I called for the product, not when it was received by me. Customer service checked the Aust Post receipt and agreed, so she changed that date also.

I'm still waiting for the 12 weeks challenge email also, I asked CS about that and she said I'll get an email........... still waiting......

I also complained about the forum etc etc etc.
I hate confrontation, hence I waited till hormonal, but when she had "attitude voice" my head span around like Linda Blair and that was it, I lost the plot catfight

Go for it, get your money back, you feel better afterwards.

    Good luck

    Hey FeFe,

The promo on the telly is Geoff saying "loose 5kg in 7days or get your money back and you keep the products". Well I wasnt going to as I like and agree with everything, but I didnt loose 5kg in 7 days and with all the login issues and then the argument with Customer Service, I then tested the water and I got my $149 back.

When I called up for the product, I had to pay $149.

I can still log in to Trim Club and I still have the 4 weeks free for trim club, then its $21.95 per month, or drop the trim club and just use the forums.

I believe, if I had the full support of what was guaranteed, then I probably would have lost the 5kg.

    Hi Meg

Well I finally rang BT and had a massive whinge about all the things I didn't like - and as you said - they refund the money (mine was $169 as I deferred payment) if you don't lose the 5kg in the first week. I also resigned from trim club - I really don't see any benefits from it.

Thank you for the encouragement - I am a confident person but I hate having to go into battle over things. I have had 3 insurance issues since August (burglary, my daughter's car was hit and lost all my food with a power outage) and reached the point of being "over" discussing issues. So I was dreading this phone call. Fortunately they just agreed to it all - so I didn't have to argue.

    Hey Steph,

    Well Done!!!

I was saying to my daughter that the trim club really will be a waste of money as I can keep track of my measurements myself and I've worked out the body % loss on my excel spreadsheets also.

The receipes on that site are in the book also so it means nothing really. I'll wait till the 2nd May anyway.

    Hi All.
Well my first week went down well losing 5.2kg. I felt great the morning of my Free day but I too felt i went a bit overboard and just ate bad for snacks aswell. It was a bit of a mixed up weekend for me though i think all these public holidays have thrown me right out of whack. My PO day went well till the nighttime for some reason i decided to pick at the scraps of Mudcake i made the night before till i stood there thinking...what the hell am i doing!!
So today i will make myself do some extra excerice on the WII to hopefully make up for it. I'm hoping it won't effect my weight this week.

I'm having Free day on Mothers day not that anything is planned. Hubby doesn't celebrate things like this so i don't expect to get anything or go anywhere. Prob just go over to my mums place i imagine....i need to get her something!!

I'm up for a WII challenge but i don't really have many games.
I only have WII Fit, Just dance and some other Latin dance fitness one which i LOVE! I would love to get the Zumba game maybe i can get it for myself for mothers day lol

    hi all,

well I too just got my money back or should I say I dont have to pay no money for my system as I was on the 30 day trial. Was all psyched for a confrontation and the girl was really nice, was all but very helpful Happydance

I have now been on the BT for just over a week now and have lost a total of 1.9 kg and have been learning from some mistakes that have made me yo yo and now I'm feeling confident I have worked it all out, so look out 70's here i come lol.

I too think I might be like Jo and have my free day as Mothers Day, we deserve it lol! I missed out on chocolate on Easter Sunday hissy so I think I've earned this one. My 3yr old has been asking to have pizza for the last week and I think that might just do tea for us on the Sunday Night Woohoo

Good luck to all and have a great week!!

    Hey Meg
I know what you mean about the salads!
I made upa big batch of Ratatolie eneough for bout 10 serves and i swap between this and salad each day. I heat it up and just add what meat i have for the day (roast beef is really nice). Kinda like a soup.

Also if i'm over both of those i have a batch of Fritata/quiche things i made in muffin tins. They are stuffed with vegies and a tiny bit of cheese on top and I fit 2 eggs into 3 of them so feels like i'm stuffing myself with 3 muffins

yummo, thanks Jo, will definately give that a whirl.

cheated tonight though. Was frozen when I got home from work and so I made pasta bake with the cooked chook that needed to have been finished tonight. Oh well, as least I have less pasta spirals than I would normally put in and put more vegies in.

Well - a very mixed day for me!

Back at work (school) after 2 weeks holidays to many compliments on how I looked. The 6kg weight loss was definitely enhanced by a pencil skirt and silky belted blouse - but I did feel good! A couple of teachers commented several times during the day - I think they were quite amazed.

Then - woe - to the dentist to have a dead tooth removed. Of course it wouldn't come out easily and it took over 30 mins - no pain at the time - but my right shoulder was terribly strained from tension! I am okay - but had to have a shake snack as eating is out for a little while yet. The pain is slowly building - so I will see how I go for exercise - but it might not happen tonight! Maybe I can cope with stepping - but Walk away the pounds is out!

Anyway - on the whole happy with the day. Glad that there is only one more day until the weekend (mind you today felt like a Monday).

    Hi guys! Hi There

I've really been slack on the old exercise this week. Had a pretty fun on few days and just been exhausted - that sofa of mine is way to comfy! I hit that baby and don't want to move.

But jumped on the scales this morning to see how I'm doing and I'm down 5.2kilos all up! Clap Not bad for just under 2 weeks.

Great Job Janene! we're the same weight now!!

I'm going to force myself not to weight in till Sunday morning...it's been so hard not to take another sneek peak!

I've been having my 'give up' attitude the last day or 2 which i always get and give into with most plans i try but have tryed to be strong and just kept going as best a can....i will amit though i snuck in an easter egg last night cause the stress of making dorothy heads was to much to take lol (for a cake i'm doing atm).

I really wanted to get uner the 118 this week....i'd be happy with 117.9 but i don't feel like i have got there. We will see though!

I don't feel as bloated anymore. finally that feeling is gone. My clothes are still pretty snug but i don't seem to notice much difference in my clothes until i lose a decent amount. I think once i get to 110kg i will notice the difference.....lol maybe by then my snug tops which are actually suposed to be loose and flowy will actually be loose and flowy like they should be haha
